About the Program

Construction Technology Program is a program that provides pre-education on the construction and operation of all kinds of structures that people use in their daily lives. Construction Technology is a technical discipline that is based on mathematics and physics education, followed by general information in major engineering sciences such as building, mechanics, hydraulics, building materials, transportation, geotechnical and building management. The main goal of the program; To train technical staff who follow science and technology and are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to put this knowledge into practice in parallel with the developing technology.

For this purpose, in addition to the theoretical information in our program, practical information to be used in the field of application is seen as applied in the laboratories (building materials laboratory, highways laboratory, land measuring devices, soil mechanics laboratory). Licensed training of many computer programs related to the department (such as PROBINA, AUTOCAD). Students who graduate from the construction technology program, the construction industry; private engineering, architectural offices, construction companies, building inspection companies and the public sector are trained as necessary intermediate staff (professional staff) with sufficient knowledge and business skills in the subjects they need.

Aim

The aim of the department is to train intermediate technical staff who will serve our country in the sectors related to the Construction Technology Program of the 21st century, by making use of its knowledge of science, technology, and art, and to contribute to the use and disseminationof this information given in education.

Mission

Having the ability to use the knowledge learned in mathematics, physics, statics, building materials, reinforced concrete, steel structures, hydraulics, highway construction and soil mechanics in his professional life, able to make basic calculations, make basic drawings and use computer programs related to them, our aim is to train students with professional ethics awareness by integrating practicalknowledge gained in laboratory-based practical lessons.
