The 3rd International Information Sharing Meeting of the European Union ERASMUS+ 'HORECA-FS' Project was held in Spain

 

The 3rdTransnational Project Management Meetings (TPM) event of project titled 'Strategies to Improve the Qualification of Hotel Restaurant Catering Staff on Food Safety and Hygiene Practices' (project number: 2021-1-SK01-KA220-VET-000034652) were held with the project partners and managed the project activities (meetings, intellectual outputs etc.) and budget. The Project partnered by Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University with the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Muhammed YÜCEER.

The 3rd International Meeting (Transnational Meeting) of the HORECA project was successfully held on 09 and 10 May 2023 at Centro Tecnológico Nacional de la Conserva (CTNC) in Murcia, Spain. It was a productive meeting for everyone, after the virtual Kick-off meeting held in June 2022 and the 2nd face-to-face international meeting held at Slovenska Polnohospodarska University on 22-23 November 2022 in Nitra, Slovakia. The initial planning of the business and activities were discussed. At the same time, the partners had the chance to discuss and collaborate on the intellectual outputs. At the meeting, different opinions were expressed and a partner to manage each important activity was determined and relevant decisions were taken. Thus, the milestones of the project implementation were determined and agreed upon by all participating members. Each partner presented their ideas for the training module they would develop and manage; Further discussion took place until all parties were satisfied and the overall consistency of the modules was guaranteed. On the other hand, the partners had the opportunity to organize and plan the final (4th) International meeting to be held at the Austrian ISEKI Association. Final TPM will be organized in Austria between 24-25 October 2023. This will be important to finalize the work to be carried out in the next 6 months. Finally, dissemination and quality assurance plans were presented and agreed upon by the organizations managing these activities (CTNC). On the second day of the project, a technical trip was organized to HORECA School in Murcia.
